Marcy took over the reins from Kathie Chaffee who retired July 1, 2017. She comes to the Board from the Counseling Center where she served as the Director of Youth Community Support Services. She has lived and worked in Columbiana County her entire life. She has a Master's Degree in Community Counseling and is licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement and as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor Clinical Supervisor. She and her husband Dave live in Columbiana and have two grown sons.
Delores has more than 40 years experience in the mental health field. She has worked as Fiscal Manager, MIS Manager, and Office Manager for the Child and Adult Mental Health Center in Mahoning County, the Counseling Center of Columbiana County, and the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board. Her duties include overall fiscal management such as budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing, auditing, and reporting. She is also responsible for the daily oversight of computer operations, including the MACSIS state billing and tracking system.
Pat has a Bachelor's Degree in English Education and a Master of Arts Degree in English. She has worked for the Board since 1995. She has many years experience in both the clerical and supervisory fields. Her responsibilities include assisting the Executive Director and other management staff with office support services. She coordinates Board and committee meetings, prepares the minutes, conducts media and information education activities including preparation of news releases, and informational articles for local papers.
Shirley Carter, Administrative Secretary
Shirley has been employed with the Board since 2001. She previously worked for the Counseling Center as the MIS/Accounting Manager and the for Northeast Ohio Adoption Services as the Coordinator of Secretarial Services for the Director of Development and Training. Shirley assists the Chief Financial Officer with billing and other fiscal functions, processes MACSIS enrollments, and provides clerical support for Board office staff.
Maureen has worked as the Recovery Assistant for the Board since 2001 and has experience with the mental health system for many years as a person recovering with mental illness. She previously worked as the Director of Food Services for two nursing homes where she acquired many of the organizational and leadership skills needed in her position as Recovery Assistant. Her duties include serving as the Board liaison to Recovery workgroups, providing advocacy, support, and guidance to people in recovery.
